Community Guidelines

Student Home is a private feed for Kanvas Academy members, coaches, and their families: class photos, showcase videos, shout-outs, and reminders. Many of the people on it are children, so we hold it to a higher standard than an open social network.

By posting or commenting you agree that you will not share anything that:

• Bullies, harasses, threatens, or belittles anyone, including other dancers, parents, or coaches.
• Is abusive, hateful, or discriminatory on any grounds.
• Is sexual, violent, or otherwise unsuitable for children to see.
• Shares another person's private information, or photos or videos of a child whose parent has asked for them not to be shared.
• Advertises, spams, or promotes anything unrelated to the academy.
• Impersonates someone else or misleads other members.

Every post and comment has a menu with Report and Block. Reporting sends the content to our coaches straight away; blocking hides that member's posts and comments from you, and they won't be told. You can unblock someone from your account page at any time.

A coach reviews every report within 24 hours. Content that breaks these guidelines is removed and the person who posted it may lose access to Student Home, or in serious cases their membership.

A basic language filter stops the most obvious offensive words from being posted. It is not perfect, so please still report anything the filter misses.
